129B4AAF-1A76-464F-95A3-09B69E7BB56AEpisode 262: We are back and what better way to celebrate April than with a little March madness! That’s right we used a complex algorithm to create head to head attraction match-ups at all 4 of the Walt Disney world Theme Parks. In this episode we narrow down the attraction match-ups to the elite eight at each theme park. We have some upsets and  some obvious no brainier wins as well. We even have a possible Cinderella story brewing with one attraction. (see what I did there?)  Tune in next week for the exciting conclusion! We also start off the show by discussing some Disney news and the Virtual Parkeology challenge taking place this weekend! If you are doing the challenge this weekend, good luck and we give some suggestions on some ride photos. I didn’t say that they are good suggestions but judge for yourself!

Today Jon and I have another round of Disney Pros and Cons! This is the game where we randomly select something from Walt Disney World and one of us will list the pros and the other has to list the cons. This time we added restaurants and resorts to the list as well. The way it works is that we use a random number generator that we match to a number on our list of attractions, dining locations, and resorts. We go through several rounds and see who can make the best arguments for or against something.

In Today’s episode we start off by talking about Animal Kingdom’s 20th Anniversary!   Jon and I then try our hand at “armchair Imagineering.” We decided to take a list of all rides, shows, and attractions and Walt Disney World and using a random number generator we would pick something from this list at random and decide what enhancements or outright changes we would make to that attraction. It turns out that imagineering is harder than it looks. Who would’ve thought?

Today we discuss the best dark rides at Walt Disney World. Jon compiled a list of dark rides (past and present) that we go through and determine which ones should be considered the top 5 of all time. We begin with a list of 23 attractions and whittle it down to 5. We both unanimously agree on which attraction is our number one dark ride of all time. Which one do you think it is? Let us know what you think of our lists by reaching out to us on our website or on social media…@twtmpodcast.

This is our first episode that is primarily devoted to something non-Disney related. So…we spend the first 7 minutes talking about Disney. Specifically, the new Disney-Pixar film Coco which I saw during it’s opening weekend. I don’t give away any major spoilers but just go see it, you won’t regret it. Anyway…the point of this episode is to talk about the recent trip that my family took to Bryson City, North Carolina to experience the Polar express train. I give my review of the experience and let you know if I recommend it. On this same trip I also spent a day at the Biltmore in Ashville, North Carolina. I give a brief review of that experience and let you know if I would recommend it for parents with young children.

We go through each park at Walt Disney world and decide which attractions (past or present) are the worst of all time. Deciding which attractions should be on this list is harder than you would think. We debate about some attractions that one or both of us have had bad experiences on and try to decide if that should be a deciding factor in what attractions belong on the worst list. What attractions would go on your worst list?

Today Jon and I talk about our favorite music from Walt Disney World. We list our favorite music by attraction and by area. We list our favorite music from the resorts as well. We had a lot of fun with this episode so we added in some honorable mentions in addition to our favorites. Take a listen and let us know what is your favorite music from Walt Disney World.
