Episode 513: After a short break, we are back together again! We’re jumping right back into the magic. Jon just got back from his latest trip to Walt Disney World, and he’s got plenty to share, from the rides and resorts to the latest park updates and a few surprises along the way.

In the news, we discuss the updates coming to Frozen Ever After and Ratatouille at Epcot. These are getting some updates that will be much appreciated. We also got the news that Soarin is going to get a fresh new film for America’s 250th birthday next summer. Soarin over America will is scheduled to be a temporary offering but we can’t help but speculate what might be included in our flight over America.

For Jon’s trip this time he went on a budget friendly mission and stayed at an Air BnB for that was located very close to Walt Disney World. He also got some really good on ride footage of several attractions. Check out our youtube channel for updates. Jon also had a change of opinion about Fantasmic. His review may surprise you.

Episode 496: This week on Traveling with the Mouse, we dive into Adam’s Memorial Day weekend trip to Walt Disney World. He arrived on opening day for Universal Orlando’s Epic Universe so naturally we were curious: Would Disney feel the ripple effects of the Epic excitement across town?

Adam takes us through his experiences over the long holiday weekend including opening day of the all-new Disney Villains show, and he gives us a full review.

With the official opening just around the corner on June 28th, we’re here to share all the details and our thoughts on this highly anticipated attraction. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is a nice addition to the Disney parks, offering a fresh and engaging experience that honors the beloved film. We can’t wait for everyone to experience it starting June 28th!

Test Track

Test Track 2.0 has been a thrilling favorite, with its high-speed adventures and interactive design elements. Our last ride was filled with nostalgia and excitement, appreciating all the elements that made this version special. While we’re sad to see Test Track 2.0 go, we’re excited about the possibilities for its refurbishment. We discuss our hopes for the new version, including more immersive storytelling and cutting-edge technology.

Other Disney News

With the massive construction project at Epcot now complete, we discuss the new features and attractions that have been unveiled. Communicore Hall is very underwhelming especially after what was originally planned for Epcot prior to 2020. This entire area is the finally of a severely cut back and watered down project. It painfully shows with this lackluster area in my favorite park.

However, while we were at Walt Disney World last week, Jason and I recorded a mid-trip report while we were having dinner at Mama Melrose’s at Disney’s Hollywood studios. In this mid-trip report we discussed our experiences at Garden Grill, Space 220, 50’s prime time and a live review of Mama Melrose’s. Episode 410: Welcome, fellow Disney enthusiasts, to another exciting episode of Traveling with the Mouse! In this edition, we join Jason and Adam on their recent trip Walt Disney World. Join us as we delve into their experiences staying in a treehouse villa, reconnecting with friends who hadn’t visited in years, and Adam’s extra day at Wilderness Lodge. Nestled amidst the lush vegetation of Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort, Jason and Adam enjoyed the tranquility of a Treehouse Villa. These unique accommodations, perched high above the ground, provided a sense of seclusion and a touch of wilderness while still being part of the enchanting resort atmosphere. Surrounded by nature, they were able to unwind and recharge after days filled with Disney adventures. We were joined by some friends who hadn’t been in several years so we hit all of the new highlights like Tron, Guardians of the Galaxy, Toy Story Land and Galaxy’s Edge. We also had some great experiences at Enzo’s Hideaway, La Cava Del Tequila, and Baseline taphouse to name a few. We also had to visit this classic attractions like Carousel of Progress, Tom Sawyer Island, Haunted Mansion, and Pirates. Adam also stayed an extra night at Wilderness Lodge and went to Geyser Point.
